After the tragedy, it was a race against time. We had to fix the S6R2-MTK engine asap before the sea water eats up the engine alive.
We took most of the engine parts apart, cleaned it, changed the required gaskets (including all six head gaskets), and got the engine running back to its original condition. Note that the engine was very well maintained until its last moments. But, it is what it is.
Sadly, while we were trying to start the engine, at that point, we didn't have a strong battery enough to completely start the engine but the whole system was in place. We didn't had much time to arrange a new battery either, because the container was already at our yard for loading :(
